H.E Minister said that the Experiment Animal Center was equipped at the highest level of modern equipment and used state-of-the-art technology.

for scientific experiments and research using experimental animals and dealing with high-risk viral and bacterial pathogens on animal health, public health and the environment such as tuberculosis-causing bacteria, prosilla and avian flu virus

The labs have been fabricated and equipped to ensure full containment and prevent the leakage of any pollutants to the environment.

MALR minister noted that this is part of the interest of the Ministry of Agriculture in applied scientific research to serve the community and also in keeping with Egypt's renaissance in all areas.

For his part, Dr. Momtaz Shaheen, Director of the Animal Health Institute, said that experimental animals were being treated through a third level of biomarker insulation to protect researchers from exposure to pathogens.

In order to ensure the prevention of environmental pollution, waste was treated through a double-door system. Drainage was treated before it was released through public expenditure. The Institute of Animal Health was a scientific and research institution with reference to animal health at the local, regional and international levels. It played a major role in protecting livestock, dengue and fish from diseases and epidemics.

Shaheen added that all labs of the Institute of Animal Health are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and modern technology and that it has 38 laboratories in all governorates of the Republic.
