Agriculture: The Institute of Food Technology has received ISO 9001 certification and certification for training, qualification, quality management and food safety
Under the guidance of H.E Mr. Al-quser, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Dr. Mohamed Suleiman, head of the Agricultural Research Centre, and within the framework of the Food Technology Research Institute Department's concern to realize the vision of Egypt's agricultural development strategy 2030 and the ongoing development and promotion of the agricultural and food manufacturing sector
Dr. Shakir Arafat, Director of the Institute of Food Technology, announced that the Institute had received its Iso 9001 certificate and its reformers in the field of training and rehabilitation in the field of good management and food safety for the servants of food enterprises and food companies. Arafat, the Institute's management is working to achieve a performance-based strategy in the delivery of services to public and private clients by applying the highest standards in quality systems and obtaining International 9001 Quality Certificates and the ISO 17025 Laboratory Certificate of Competence. Arafat added that the Department had not only obtained international certification but had also sought recognition of competence and accreditation as a training, training and consulting agency in the quality systems of the agricultural and private manufacturing sector, which helped to improve the quality, safety and security of agricultural and food products and international and regional competition, drawing on the Institute's leading expertise in the following areas:
- Training and education.
