The Minister of Agriculture is taking part in the delivery of free supply coupons to drivers as part of using microbus instead of (caboad car) Initiative.

At the conclusion of his visit to Qana province Mr. Al-Quser, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, General Ashraf Al-Daoudi, Governor of Qena, and Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, hand over 12 coupons to supply new taxis worth 1,000 pounds to every driver who has replaced their liver cars into microbus.

The Governor of Qena explained that the initiative was aimed at providing a safe and humane means of transport for the province, as well as at giving a civilizational appearance to internal transportation. He noted that 91 similar drivers had been handed over as a first stage of 160 outstanding drivers last July.

Alaa Farouk, for his part, confirmed that the Egyptian Agricultural Bank offers many facilities to owners of caboad cars who wish to upgrade their cars to a microbus, calling on them to proceed quickly to the branches of the Bank throughout the province to take advantage of these facilities.

It should be noted that Mr. Al-Quser, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, visited Luxor and Qena governorates during which many agricultural projects were lost as part of the presidential initiative launched by His Excellency President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to develop Egyptian countryside.
