"Agriculture" announces the passage of the Pesticide Residue Analysis Laboratory to renew the annual accreditation of the National Accreditation Council (AEGAC)
The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation has announced the passage of the Central Laboratory for Analysis of Pesticide Residual and Heavy Elements in Food (KYCAP) of the Centre for Agricultural Research of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation has renewed the annual accreditation of ISO (17025/2017) from the National Accreditation Council (AEGAC )
Dr. Hind Abdallah, Director of the Factory, said that this was under the guidance of Mr. Al-quser , Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Dr. Mohamed Suleiman, Head of the Agricultural Research Centre, to pursue and improve the quality of services provided to workers in the agricultural and food industries sectors and to support Egyptian exports, thereby contributing to the protection of Egyptian consumers.
Some methods of analysis had been adopted by experts from the National Council, who had examined and checked the quality system, methods of analysis and the efficiency of the laboratory staff. The laboratory had passed the renovation efficiently and with distinction.
In a related context, the laboratory received a visit from members of the Chamber of Food Industries, in accordance with the protocol signed between the laboratory and the Chamber. The Director of the laboratory accompanied them to inspect the subordinate departments and see the main steps taken from the receipt of samples to the results of the analysis.
