The Minister of Agriculture is holding a meeting to implement the instructions of His Excellency President El-Sisi to develop an integrated vision for Egypt's fertiliser system.
Under the guidance of His Excellency President Abdulfattah al-Sisi, President of the Republic, during his meeting yesterday in the presence of the Prime Minister ministers and officials to review all components of Egypt's fertilizer system. "Today, the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, H.E Mr. Al-quserr, convened a meeting with the leaders of the Ministry of Fertilizer System to develop an integrated view of Egypt's fertilizer, current production capacity and volume of needs, as well, during the meeting, MALR minister confirmed that the State's current mega-projects in land reclamation, horizontal expansion and taxonomic inventory would contribute to the increase in agricultural area.
In view of the importance of fertilizers for agricultural production, the Minister of Agriculture also directed the implementation of the Policy Leadership Directive to make agricultural inputs available in general, commensurate with the State's current and future plans for horizontal and vertical expansions of reclaimed land to achieve food security for citizens.
